about

In the words of David Roth on the third track of Van Halen 2..: “Somebody get me a Doctor”. Honestly, I think I’ve lost it. Or maybe I’ve found it. Transcendent new age cosmic jazz set to heavily filtered images of Avebury. It doesn’t get more out there than this. Zen to fuck. I don’t really know what to say, it just happened. 13 minutes of escalating insanity or perhaps salvation. It sure felt good whilst I was making it! And I seem to have accidentally made a full-length video to accompany it having found some abandoned footage of a trip to Avebury. So here goes with the first minute. It’s gonna be quite a trip I warn you. I can’t decide what to call it yet. The working title is “He Should Have Worm a Fucking Cape”. You can leave at any time it’s getting a bit much. No judgement. We return to Middle Earth to begin settling before our journey through the stones to the Holy Mountain. These trees were the inspiration for JR Tolkien’s Ents. Which means that we’re in the right place to get our chops going for mad hippy wig-outs. Phew! You can’t see it here but one of them is known as the wishing tree. Folks if you wanna make a wish make sure you’re ribbon is biodegradable. Check out the @cleanerclootiecampaign so your dreams come true for you and for nature. Synths settle into a drone as Tibetan Bowls chime and a Wah Wah Wurlitzer begins to noodle like it’s 1973 and the Headhunters are going head to head with the Mahivishnu Orchestra. But as I’m not an actual musician and I’m faking it I had the sense to put this in key a where I only need to play the black notes and everything will be ok. Onwards…
